We constantly update our skills, taking advantage of both internal and external training opportunities. To provide the best possible care, our dentists, hygienists, nurses and reception staff all undergo structured professional development training. All our nurses are qualified DSAs and are all registered with the General Dental Council. As our patients continue to say, our technical and reception staff are “consistently exceptional at what they do.”

Fernleigh Dental Practice was established in Winchmore Hill over 100 years ago. During these years, the practice has been owned and managed by five generations of experienced dentists and dental surgeons. Dr. Ashish Sharma is the current owner and director, having recently taken over this responsibility from Dr Vasant Patel and Mrs Aruna Patel. Dr. Sharma and his family recently moved from the West Midlands.
Dr. Vasant Patel, supported by his team, has worked tirelessly for the past twenty years to take the practice forward. Although he has taken the decision to pass on the reigns, he remains fully committed to the future of Fernleigh. He continues to see patients requiring oral surgery, on a more flexible appointments timetable.
